Kylie Jenner’s pregnancy: A Great Marketing Campaign, A Plain Lie or The Real Deal?

Kylie Jenner’s pregnancy: A Great Marketing Campaign, A Plain Lie or The Real Deal?

Since reports that Kylie is pregnant broke the internet last year, it seems that the youngest Kardashian sister is all that anyone can talk about. Following the rumour, Kylie has taken an unusual holiday away from the spotlight and her second skin, Instagram in an uncharacteristically secret manner… until Calvin Klein released their latest campaign: Our Family.

The Kardashian-Jenner sisters – Kylie, Khloe, Kim, Kourtney and Kendall – are the new faces of the fashion giant’s “Our Family” campaign. A series of images that were released saw the sisters posing and lounging in their underwear together.

Talking to Vogue, Kim said: “Family is everything, so when we’re all together doing something special like this, it means so much.

“We were all in a group text before saying how lucky we are to do this together and that it’s going to be the best day.”

The photos are the first we’ve seen of all five sisters together since reports of both Kylie and Khloe’s pregnancies stunned the internet into a meltdown. Despite Khloe confirming the rumour by announcing that she was expecting late last year, Kylie is still yet to make any comments… or is she?

The new Calvin Klein ad displays all of the sister’s toned stomachs, except Kylie’s. Hidden beneath a red and white patterned blanket, the youngest sister appears as though she is attempting to ‘subtly’ hide her pregnancy. Other photos show Kylie sporting an oversized denim shirt and hiding behind the comfort of sister Khloe Kardashian’s thigh.

Whether the Calvin Klein ad has been purposefully staged to help hide her pregnancy or simply to create another social media storm; one thing we are sure about at Avalanche HQ is that no matter the outcome, the rumour has created huge publicity for the social media sensation and in the marketing world, that’s never a bad thing.
